Eats on Bay resembles the widely popular Beats by Dre Studio headphones. In using Beats Headphones as our design, we are able to connect with people of all ages, all different music tastes, and from around the world. The headphones have brought energy, emotion, and excitement to music lovers. Just as Beats Headphones provides listeners with a unique experience, our design does the same through the use of a looped soundtrack, letting the beat of “Another One Bites the Dust” flow through the Toronto Dominion Centre as people walk by.
The song choice alludes to Ryerson University’s support of the Daily Food Bank and their efforts to fight poverty in Toronto. Each can represents another step towards ending hunger. Our end goal is to allow the people of Toronto to Eat on Bay, through our design of Beats, by Dr. Dre.
